Teleprompters – Who Needs Them ?
Interrotrons hit Manhattan Just when you thought the world is overloaded with useless gadgets comes a device that makes so much sense you wonder why nobody thought of it before. Here is something really cool. Documentary video director and best selling author Errol Morris invented a teleprompter-like setup in conducting interviews which he calls the Interritron TelePrompter.The prompter is set up on the lens often a film camera); however, rather than displaying a written script, it is used to project the image captured by a video camera focused on the interviewer who is positioned nearby.
