When you home school one of the things that you can do is to take a field trip whenever you want to. You can teach your children while on an outing just as easy as teaching them at home at the kitchen table. The difference is they can live and experience what they are learning instead of just reading about it in a book. This is more effective in teaching and learning when they can live it.
